Film, book, music, tv
Walk The Line
Very good film. Went to see this it this evening. Reese Witherspoon is such a good actress. And she is really pretty too. Great in that film. Actually all the actors in the film are really good. It deserved the BAFTA's it was nominated for. Cant remember how many it won. It's the oscars soon as well isnt it?
Just watching American Pie 2 on ITV. This film is def one of my faves ever. I'm a bit bored of it cus I've seen it loads but it does have a lot of meaning for me. Reminds me a lot of all the old times with me and my lot in secondary school etc. And the whole story has a lot of personal meaning and history. And the ending nearly always makes me cry. lol.

The 'it' crowd.
God its funny. The adverts for it looked quite good so watching the first eps now. It's written by Graham Linehan who wrote Father Ted and Black Books. You can kinda tell its that kinda comedy. But it's very very funny.
I'll be watchin it every week.

Brokeback Mountain, Memoirs of a Geisha...
Both Brilliant films. Saw Brokeback Mountain last wed - very good. speshly if u like Heath Ledger or Jake Gyllenhal or both (hee hee). There are some v funny bitts, bit depressing at the end but very good.
Memoirs of a Geisha - very good. It's a very beautiful film - I think its the best word for it. Again - sad bits, funny bits, but very well made. quite gripping.

Tony Blair - Rock Star?
Just watching this now on Ch4. It's very interesting and quite amusing if a little cheesy. It's making me look at him in a completely different way. That's probably the purpose of the programme. I've never hated him, He's quite a nice person - I sometimes feel quite sorry for him. Although whenever I see him on tv he makes me laugh - I think its caused by too many satirical 'dead ringers' type progs.

Celeb Big Bro
Interesting task today. Not that I was watching it cus I dont sink to that level. But there is nothing else on and little blog - please forgive me.
anyway all the housemates had to sit under a cardboard box and the one who stayed there the longest won a prize. Dunno what the prize is tho. It showed immedaitely who the extroverts were - the ones who got out immediately when there was temptation of freshly brwed coffee from the diary room. George Galloway showed that he is still an annoying arse and a very argums tentative mp. He kept trying to get everyone to agree on one person who would win it and then they could all get out. Honestly - were they in a hurry to go somewhere? I would have quite enjoyed something like that. Just sitting under the box with the goal os staying in there longer than everyone else. Introverts tend to be much better as boring tasks which involve just sitting or doing one simple thing. Being very introverted I could have stayed under there for hours. Well maybe not hours but a while - just thinking. I find it difficult to see how people cant do something at simple as that. But then - for some people - just sitting doing nothing and just... thinking, is a lot of effort.
