Happy St Paddy's day Everyone - English or whatever race they are - seem to be going out drinking 2nite and generally be celebrating the fact that it's St Patricks day - the patron saint of Ireland. However, I've never seen anyone on St David's day going out or doing the English equivalent (drinking extra tea, having scones, queueing and generally doing everything in a moderate 'I may as well put up with this weather' and 'mustny grumble' kind of way) Come to think of it - I dont even know when St David's day is. Someone help me I'm sposed to be English. There's nothing wrong with the Irish - I think the whole lot of em are great but I just think it's weird how only their day celebrate is the only one us british ever do anything on.

Damp.. It's a bit wet here in plymouth today. Had a water session at 12 ish.. was a bit shambolic. There was 6 of us so we sorted out a four to go out first and we were gonna swop. We didnt have much time cus we left it quite late getting on the water. Me and kate were upstairs and I did a 2k. They girls came back in and said they were coming in and not swopping so me and kate didnt actually get a row. It wasnt a total loss tho. Did 2k in about 8.42 ish.. I'm sure because I didnt reset the time after I warmed up and therefore it said about 20 seconds higher than my actual time. pff. I'm gonna work on gettin that down cus it's more important for regattas than the longer 4/5k ergs. Anyway going to the cin later to see The Matador. Shud be good. I fancy the pants of Greg Kinnear. raa Edit: - 19.18 - The Matador is very funny. Good film. Shouldnt be taken too seriously but good if u like a laugh.

Teenagers...who'd have em. Sis had a wild part the other night. It was sposed to be aa birthday party for her friend who's birthday is on xmas day. However, there was a lot of drinking (these are 14/15/16 year olds) neat vodka and throwing up in the house and the garden. The words summed up - NEVER AGAIN. It was madness. I went out for the evening, came back about 10.30 walking right into the midst of it. I retreated to my room, waiting for my parents to come home. Credit to them for clearing up all the sick and mess and managing to get most of the drunk kids to their own houses. The Grandmother is coming today. Sleeping in me bed and all. Dont care that much cus I get the front room. She'll just be hanging around here for several days. Ah well - christmas is a time for family after all. We'll be having the usual 'neighbours round for drinks and nibbles' 2moro afternoon. Should be ok - I like most of them anyway.

too much work I've been working pretty much all day - non stop since about 2.00. Tryin to finish notes on a presentation for first thing on wednesday. It's just long enough phew. I've still gotta do the powerpoint slides for what I did this afternoon but I've got 4 hours ish 2moro in which to hopefully get it all done. I hate presentations anyway. It's like 5% of me feckin mark bah. Now I'm reasting my head and listenin to The Who full volume - got a headache so i shud really turn it down a bit.

OH MY GOD!! Woolworths are stocking christmas cards and twiddly tree decorations. Ahhhhhhhhh - they can't be serious. I mean - it's still early for halloween!!! Oooh I'm goin home to bristol on thurs and stayin the weekend. I cant wait to see me mates. And my cats. I miss then so much being here (my cats). Havin animals around is so nice. Miss my friends too actually. Goin out with them in Bristol is loads nicer than goin out with peeps down here. Dunno what it is. I need to get them to come down ere so we can go out. Pubs/bars down ere are a lot nicer than ones in Bristol and there's more of em.

Love Hurts Dont you hate it when you love someone and they dont love you back? I do. cus well... I do. Saw him today - looked feckin lush. It was worth the pain afterwards just to see him for a minute or so. He didnt see me tho. AHHHHHH I MISS HIM!!!!
